Aerospace Perspectives: Past, Present, and the Future @ Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI)

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing and the 30th anniversary of Ohio Aerospace Institute by joining us for thoughtful perspectives on the past, present, and future of commercial and defense aviation and cybersecurity. This full day program offers:

• Connections to aerospace opportunities

• Networking with industry leaders including retired NASA astronauts, legal and cyber security experts

• Best practices and compliance requirements for government contracts, as well as control requirements for aerospace; including industry, academia, and research organizations

• Information on how your company can fill the growing maintenance, repair and overhaul need in the aerospace industry

ABOUT OAI The Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI) is a joint initiative of the NASA Glenn Research Center, the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the State of Ohio, ten public and private universities granting doctoral degrees in aerospace-related engineering disciplines, and numerous companies engaged in aerospace activities. OAI has offices in Cleveland and Dayton.

OFRN Round 4 Proposers Day and Applicant Training @ Quest Conference Center

The Ohio Federal Research Network Round 4 Proposers Day and Applicant Training event will give information about the Ohio Federal Research Network (OFRN) and the OFRN Round 4 Opportunity Announcement for the Sustaining Ohio’s Aeronautical Readiness and Innovation in the Next Generation (SOARING) initiative. The session will also include applicant proposal and pitch training.

Who Should Attend? Anyone interested in the following should attend this informational briefing.

  • learn about the OFRN and the Round 4 Opportunity Announcement
  • gain contracting information
  • receive proposal and pitch training

Attendance at this session is voluntary but highly encouraged.

Is there a fee for this event? – There is no fee to attend this event. We ask that you cancel your registration if you find that you cannot attend the event.

How can I get a copy of the OFRN Round 4 Opportunity Announcement? – An email announcement wil go out when the RFP is released. Download a copy from the Round 4 Opportunity Announcement site, or email becky.mescher@wright.edu to receive a copy via email.

Do I have to attend the Proposers Day and Applicant Training if I want to submit a response to the Round 4 Opportunity Announcement? – Attendance at the OFRN Round 4 Proposers Day and Applicant Training is highly encouraged but not a requirement of the submission process.

The DDC, along with many key partners and sponsors, hosts the annual state-wide Ohio Defense Forum. The Forum is for defense installation leadership, community leaders, industry representatives, and elected officials to connect, build awareness, and gain a deeper understanding of the current defense environment, and the role they play in supporting all facets of national defense.
